Since the reopening of Walt Disney World after the Covid shutdown, when visiting the parks you had to make a park reservation and you could not park hop till after 2pm. That mean that you couldn't just wait till you wake up and see what park you felt like visiting that day. You had to plan in advance. This meant you also had to be more conscious of making your dining reservation because you had to make sure you were in the right park at the right time.
Well today that all ended! As of Jan. 9th, you no longer need park reservations and you can park hop all day. What does that mean? It means you can wait until you wake up in the morning and decide where you want to go. Maybe you had a busy day the day before and you just want to leisurely stroll through World Showcase at Epcot. Then you can do that! Maybe you want to eat breakfast at Akershus in Epcot but then go to lunch at Be Our Gues in the Magic Kingdom. You can do that!
The world will never be as it was before Covid, but things are getting back to a new normal. Thankfully, the new normal at Walt Disney World is getting better today also!
