Every year we stress over what to get everyone for Christmas. We shop and spend and fight crowds and stress out during a time when we should really be enjoying our time with family and friends. What if there was a present that you could give that wouldn't just get left on the floor of the closet or end up in the trash or at the thrift shop? What if you could give a gift that would create memories for you and your family or friends that will last for a lifetime? Well there is a gift that can do just that and that gift is........a gift of travel! I'm as guilty as anybody for succumbing to the hassle and stress of Christmas shopping. So many years I have been out all day or online all day trying to find that perfect gift to give. Some years it seems easy but then some years it's full on stress until the last minute. Then you end up getting a gift that you know is not perfect but you're just out of time to figure anything else out. So let's talk about a gift that everyone will love.
I can not remember what present I gave my girls when they were 10 but I sure remember the wonderful memories we made on our trip to London. I couldn't tell you what they got when they were 15 but I remember all the fun times we had in Japan. Even our day trips to Hershey Park or the Amish Country made memories that my girls can still recall today.
The point is that travel doesn't have to be expensive or last for a month to be a special time for you and your family to make memories. In my family "experiences" > "things". We love to experience places together no matter how short the trip may be.
